I've been searching the various flyertalk forums for info on this but haven't found anything. Has Japan Airlines ever flown to Newark? I know they fly two 744s daily to JFK, but have they ever flown to Newark?

United used to fly EWR-NRT nonstop with a 747 for a few years during the mid to late 1990s, but they stopped that route well before 9/11. As far as I know, Continental (daily w/ a 777) is the only airline currently flying this route nonstop.
