Whether we like it or not, we are also being scored. There is no need for us to opt in because they already know everything we do. I predict that Douyin/Tiktok will topple them within the next 2 years.
Since I've been in China, the progression has been email-->SMS-->MSN-->QQ-->Wechat
That's 5 platforms over 20 years...with 4 years each. We're due for a new sheriff, especially if Tencent goes deeper into monitoring us.
