that is a bloggers own speculation. no rush, just wait. could be kinks being ironed out, or a strategy change by JAL JMB.
JMB could be blocking partners, as an incentive to its own members (SQ, AF do it too).
Or they may be doing it to drive consumption of JMB miles, considering the stockpile of miles that JBM members have retained due to the prolonged stoppage in international travel.
both of these, are of course speculation!
this cycle of rumours, panic, lots of talk and speculation, and then quiet once the matter is solved, is quite common and nothing to be alarmed at.
