Dav77 Yes the Maldives are wide open in July which is why I considered it as a valid choice for our whereabouts next month.

I was going to say that for me, if I go to the Maldives I do want the seaplane flight which is why I would prefer Fairmont than BT in order to be far from MLE airport. But you have that seaplane trip later during your stay when you go to Westin so I think you are covered, no need to do it twice

The Half Board price of 60 USD is very good - great deal for Maldives standards. For FB I guess it depends if you are a big eater, and AI depends if you are a big drinker!
