In order to become a gold member, it says I need 16 more stamps. When you use a voucher code to make a booking, you don't get any stamps toward rewards (which I understand why, since you have already gotten a discount), but do those stays also count toward reaching gold status?

It says I need 16 more stamps (rather than nights) and I won't earn stamps if I have used a voucher, but for reaching gold, does it count stays rather than stamps? Or do my stays when a voucher has been used not count toward reaching gold status?
