See my post earlier in this thread. I see you are in the UK whereas my chargeback was with a VISA card issued by a US bank. In my case, TAP failed to respond to the bank (Chase) within the requisite 30 days and so my temporary credit was made permanent. This was for a flight from San Francisco to Lisbon, so covered by both US DoT and EU rules.
