I have an expertflyer account, and did exactly what you said. For those following along at home, I am on flight 943 STT-MIA on July 10. Departs 2:05, arrives 4:55. Expertflyer doesn't show that flight. Only directs are 1186 and 1861. When I called AA, I said "just put me on 1186. It only leaves an hour later, plenty of time to make my connection." AA: "um, yeah, 1186 isn't flying that day." BTW - AA1186 is showing on aa.com as available, just not in F.
I get that we're in kind of weird times right now, but I haven't seen this kind of thing before where expertflyer doesn't show your flight. Makes me now wonder if we are going to have 943 cancel...
