Slightly OT, but just for the record Heuer was taken over by TAG only in 1985 and this is when TAG Heuer brand was created.

I was aware of the brand, but I didn't want to mention it as I didn't want to mention a cigarette brand.

So far 007 has only sported a TAG-Heuer watch once, in Timothy Dalton's first outing in the role. He did wear a Rolex but since 1995 he has opted for Omega.

Ah, ok. Thunderball is probably my least favourite Bond movie, I've probably not it watched close enough to notice. I don't think such things would happen in current Bond movies.
