My member year also ended a few days ago. My reading is that although I had prequalified back in November and already showed July 2021, my Gold status will now extend through to July 2022. I believe to requalify for 2022-23 I/we would still need to earn the normal (non-discounted) number of TPs. And for GGL and CCR there is no discount if one wanted to move up from Gold to either of these two tiers during this year, all of 2021, and part of 2022 (before June). If a Blue, Bronze or Silver, earning the discounted 25% during the balance of 2020, all 2021, and part of 2022, one would move up to the appropriate next tier. (I have several colleagues who missed requalifying for Gold but did achieve the new 25% less number of TPs, so they kept their Gold status and yesterday had it extended into 2022.). I hope that's clear and answers your quandary.
