That's at the centre of the debate. A number of us have taken the view that that you are guaranteed Silver to November 2021, with potentially a lower threshold for renewal. Others are of the opinion it's 2022. More details upthread, but that's what it boils down to, a difference in perspective to those upgrading. My argument is that upgraded thresholds should be kept separate from status retention, others feel the two go together.
I just checked my physical card that's been sat in a drawer for the last 3 months, and it says 'valid until 08/21'. I also re-read the email, which very explicitly tells me 'we’ve added 12 months extra onto your Gold Executive Club membership'.
I'm really struggling to see how this can reasonably be interpreted as anything other than 'your status is now valid until 08/22'.
