I went through a few rounds with both AMEX and TAP in April, made a complaint to DOT, engaged and reengaged with AMEX and thought I had gotten to a point where I would get a refund in Mid-May and was given instructions about how to request that. I had 4 business class tickets, totaling about $3400. Today I received one email for a ticket for one of my children (it had the ticket # attached) and I was given a voucher, not a refund, for a grand total of $258 which they claim is 20% more than I am due as a cash refund. OMG, forget about every flying on TAP again, I am thinking I dont really want to even set foot in the country based on this experience.
