From someone who works in the travel industry, I’ve been saying this for months. Covid has been a complete disaster for the industry and people need to be patient. Unless you’re suffering financial hardship, just wait it out.
This isn’t about “interest free loans”, it’s about having enough available, trained, staff to process the extra refunds and managing cashflow. Refund too much, too fast and the business will fold, costing jobs.
If you’re being wrongly refused a refund, push via other means (Chargeback etc) but if you’ve been promised a refund, just hang in there.
