I think you have a couple options for July 2 - flight could well be cancelled by Virgin, then you'd get a refund automatically. I'd wait until a week out; I'm not sure Virgin's flying out of SFO at all yet, so perhaps nobody at the airport. The SFO agents are wonderful, and I'm sure they could fix this all for you. I've also heard about contacting an airline on social media, but haven't ever tried that.
