My wife and I are planning on a four night vacation stay in Melbourne in early December. I was leaning towards the Sheraton mainly because of its lounge. How is the lounge and the services in the lounge?
Also, our first time to Sydney from Melbourne. The Sheraton is a 100 AUD more per night than the Four Points BUT it has the lounge and supposedly a much nicer hotel. Is the Sheraton worth the difference?

Any tips on getting good rates in that part of the world for retired vacation travelers?
