Funnily enough by far the best benefit we enjoyed wasn't a published benefit of Gold status at all. That was being upgraded from WT+ to CW not once but twice.
I last had the WT+ to CW (longhaul!) upgrade just a couple of weeks before the pandemic.
Was pretty fortunate to get it, might not get another upgrade for a long time.
