Thumbs down and another thing

I guess my question really is, is it discriminatory to even have gold, platinum, and other execlusive cards offered only to the rich with high annual spending? and my rational is that because a credit card is not a product where separation of wealth is necessary. Another example: only the rich that makes over 200K can sit in front of the bus and the subway. All the poor people have to stand. Or, only rich people can use the bathrooms at Saks fifth avenue.

oh yeah--and another thing--they now charge you a fee in order to transfer the MR points into an airline ff program.

I can't recall the exact rate--but if you were transfering a bunch of miles--the fee isn't insignificant.
