Has anyone used their conditional credits to buy tickets prior to VA conclusion (mid Aug)?
Does it consume the full value of the cc, or is there a residual credit that remains? Was it a swift process to connect to a Virgin operator, or did it take hours?
I have just under $2k in cc's. I doubt the new owner will acknowledge them (10% max return in the wildest of dreams). I don't particularly want to travel before Spring, but rather than see them evaporate, I will burn them off as soon as NT or QLD borders open. (ex CBR)
Anyone had success, or thinking along similar lines, or is the harsh reality we have been taken to the conditional cleaners?
