Not true. Chase Travel would not provide a refund if it cannot get the refund issued by the airline. Plain and Simple.
You can believe what you want to, but the reality is as what mia explained. If you dont want to get involved with the 3rd party relationship, then you should NOT book thru a 3rd party - book directly with the airline then you would have less issues, and not just refund related.
Simply put, you want to save $, so you go thru Chase Travel - but it has perils even at the good time. A classic case of you cannot have your cake and eat it too.
