Hello and sorry for my late reply. I did not even know MIA allows INTL to INTL without going through immigration. And since I'd still have to collect the luggage this is even more surprising to me. Perhaps it depends of terminal and route? But how does MIA handle the situation right now? Do they let ppl just in? LHR is active with MIA. Do all the passengers have to go to quarantine once in MIA?

I've not moved from UVF since March, should it matter... and if I could avoid flying I would do so, but I really have to go to MXP.

I'm flying with an ESTA, and since my AA ticket wanted me to specify where I'm staying in the US I bet I'm not beeing seen as connecting, but a stop over. Should I be wrong it might be an option spending 24 hours inside the INTL transit (horrible option btw which I still doubt is even possible)

On the way back to UVF I will be flying direct LGW-UVF since this route is available again in August.

Hmmm...
