calculation of miles...
Frontier states that they award miles based on actual miles flown. A normal flight from New York (LGA) to Denver (DEN) is 1407 nautical miles. However, since the pandemic began, Frontier hasn't been offering this flight, and now it is LGA ---> ATL (662 nautical miles) --> DEN (1042 nautical miles, total being 1704 nautical miles). Does that mean that I would get an extra 297 nautical miles for flying this route w/ the stopover in ATL? Trying to do 2 mileage runs if I can do it w/ the promo going on right now, as I calculate each round trip would net me 10,224 miles and thus get me Elite status (20,448 miles total flown) for another year, assuming that Frontier awards based on the actual miles flown and doesn't just give me credit for the distance between the start and end points (16884 miles instead). Thanks.
