AS website says checked baggage is accepted up to one hour before the departure. Does not look like your connection at LAX will work if you have checked baggag.

Sorry,, AS website says baggage acceptance cut off is 40 min before the departure. My home airport was LAX for 15 years. Chance of getting your checked baggage in 10 min after the arrival and give 10 min for terminal transfer and checking your baggage at AS, does not look good.
