This is the kind of question that gets a typical "Radio Yerevan" joke answer, i.e. yes, but...: I've never, ever heard a case where the request was refused although they're not obliged to do it! It's actually entirely up to the CI agent to decide, so put on a nice smile or a sad face (depending of your own profiling of her/him), ask politely and try your luck.
