Does this sound right? I have a 35K cert I wanted to use at a Cat. 4 Residence Inn. The studio suite was 20K, I was able to book that with the cert. But first I tried to book a 1 br suite (not a studio) that was 31K points, below the cert's 35K limit, and it would not let me.

I know if it was a pricier hotel that was off-peak I could not do it, but I was surprised I couldn't use it at a lower level hotel for an upgraded room.
