Frankly the differences between all of the CS seats is now fairly minimal - we are in a very different space compared to the rest of CW. The only significant difference now is whether you have windows or not. I wouldn't read much into being in the forward or aft sections either. But I have been in 8K and yes it would be fine for a day time flight as a single traveller. It's a bit odd since there isn't anyone to your left, the back of the galley storage area takes up what would have been the seating space. Night flights it may be better to go to the middle of the cabin, but I really shouldn't encourage the angels to dance on a pinhead. The WCs are on the other side of the galley, so they aren't nearby.
