I started traveling on the transcons regularly around the 1st of Septermber.

After 3RT I pointed out the AA Challenge to OnePass in email and how the lack of status was causing long delays at LAX security since I couldn't use the Elite Access security lanes.

What do you know, three days later I was accelerated to Gold status.
