UA has two versions of 789.
If the business class seats are shown in orange on the seatmap. This is the most common configuration. In that case, 1A does not have direct aisle access and needs to pass by the aisle seat (1B).

If the seatmap is using dark blue (or there is a PremiumPlus section), it is the newer config and all business seats have direct aisle access.
