I'm Bonvoy Gold, but am aware they don't honor room upgrades etc at Vacation Club properties. Can one comfortably just book and stay like it's a hotel, without sitting through timeshare sales pitches? I just want to stay somewhere, but there's no way it will ever be feasible for us to own timeshare property half a world away from our home in Australia.
When we booked and stayed, we got one phone call trying to push some timeshare stuff on us. They did take no for an answer.
We enjoyed our three night stay there. They’ve got some nice kids programs, and the unit was pretty comfortable. If you find a good price, grab it.
