My German isn't good enough to assess the tone of this, but it's curious that the message from DL ends with the (somewhat customary in certain situations) "with friendly greetings" (IMO similar to how sincerely yours, sincerely, or yours truly would be used, but perhaps with somewhat warmer connotations).

I'd like to see the whole chain of emails from the beginning and to understand the circumstances here.
