AmEx financial review problem

A family member just got a financial review request from AmEx, account has multiple personal cards and several business charge cards (with employees - family members). They already passed an FR last year based on 2018 income/IRS tax forms. But this time, due to IRS delays and since people's employment situations can vary drastically after COVID19, they are asking for last 2 paystubs and bank statements that have the primary cardholder's name on it.

Paystub and bank statement for the primary account holder are not an issue. The sticking point now is that all of the payments made on the account have been from a bank account belonging to one of the AU's/employee (another family member) on the account, not from a bank account in the name of the primary cardholder.

The paycheck stub requested is for the primary cardholder. But for the bank account, the rep on the line says they also need to see that the primary account holders' name is on the bank account where all the payments have gone out of so far. But that payment bank account is in the name of another family member.

They said if that proof cannot be supplied, she said they'd probably shut down the account. ...!

She used the analogy of walking into a bank and asking if you can borrow money in your cousin's name....and that yes, if the cousin co-signs on this, it would be okay. So using that logic, she claims that the primary account holders name needs to be on the bank account (whether it's as the main account holder or a joint account holder doesn't matter) where all the payments are coming from, according to her.

It's so stupid. So it was posed as a hypothetical situation, so it buys time to figure out what to do lol.
