oddly enough aeroplan agent could find availability JFK-SYD in F but not JFK-SIN in F which is what I wanted.

EDIT: It was my account that was mostly the problem. Booked JFK-AUH-SIN in F for 107.5k + $22.31 CAD taxes + $30 CAD phone fee

Ticketed instantly!
