Just a data point.

I've just had a cash refund for an Air Asia (AK) return flight HKG-KUL booked for the end of April on trip.com. Another one-way booking on the same return flight booked through trip.com is being refunded as a voucher (at least, they've sent ~MYR15 to my credit card which I assume is tax and there's a link to the voucher for the rest on the trip.com app).

My three direct bookings for other flights to Bangkok (FD) that I cancelled myself using Ava requesting a cash refund are still pending. They sent me emails asking for my BigPoints account number for a credit account but I replied with a screenshot of the cancellation where it says I'll get a refund to the original payment card.

I cannot be bothered to go through to customer service to bring closure to this so I'll just wait it out. If I end up having to take more vouchers then I'd rather take them later so the expiry date is later (I assume that it's bsaed on voucher issuing date rather than flight date - can anyone confirm).
