Now, Turkish Airlines has the flight for sale. It goes LHR - IST - BEG on 13th June. My issue is that in response to my query the airline claims that international flights will resume on 10 June. However, there was a story in the Turkish press with an announcement from TA claiming in international flights will resume on the 18 June. (I do not have enough posts to post the URL but it was on TRT World). Funnily enough the UK is not included in the countries listed.

I do not want to book, have the flight cancelled, and then have to ask for a refund as many people have been waiting for their corona-related refunds since April.

The Turkish Airlines website page that customer service sent me to says the 10 June as well. Am I being paranoid or should I go ahead and book? The alternative is waiting and flying Wizz Air through Luton, or paying an extortionate amount to Air Serbia. Neither of which I want to do.
W6 is operating normally - they're your best bet. They may cancel 1-2 flights per week 2 weeks ahead, but you'll get there that week on another flight.
