I've seen some fourth night free offers that allowed eight, twelfth, etc. night free too, all on a single reservation.
They're not consistent and some agents don't know the rules (or are told the rules incorrectly).
This new Privé wide free night offer is not cumulative and only allows for one free night. It is being strictly enforced from what we've been told. However, property specific free night offers, which many are still loaded in Privé, are typically cumulative. And almost always, the free night will not count towards elite status.
FWIW, this current free night offer, all of the rates I've seen with it are significantly cheaper than any regular rate. For example, at Andaz Maui, it brings the nightly average down to $380 per night which is pretty unheard of for that particular property.
