This is just not true, the company is looking to make 1130 pilots redundant or just over 26% of the pilot workforce. All pilots were sent the s188 notice just the same as the other workgroups, the difference is that they aren’t under threat of new contracts. The company do want significant changes to working practices which mean more pilots than that required by the reduction in capacity dictates.
