For me here’s my methodology -
1) Buy a SW Gift Card from a discount reseller
2) Use SW Gift Card to purchase flights
3) If the price drops change flight and get price adjustment back, if it increases then booking sooner was good.
4) If you need to cancel you can up to 10 mins prior to boarding for free.
You earn EQF (Elite Qualifying flights) and points the same as you would with Hyatt paying with a Gift Card.
I’ve given them hundreds of interest free loans, but by buying through a discount site you save ~9% which definitely helps.
