I think it’s a great deal, the only downside being you’re booking at the standard rate. And if you were booking an 8+ night stay booking the 4th night free through Hyatt would be better.

The main downside to Prive’ is the Standard Rate.

PH Beaver Creek has a Standard King or Queen listed for $189 per night at the Standard Rate while they have a King Village Side (an upgrade from Standard) for $142 on a regular Hyatt.com Rate. So in booking through Prive’ you’d pay ~$50 more nightly (after taxes). After a 4 night stay that differential has caught up. Also, not sure what you can use the property credit for there any ideas? Someone said they spent money dining, spa etc. there and it didn’t net them WOH points so not sure what qualifies for the credit.

One other drawback for Globalists is you’d have to pay a cash rate rather than pay with points. You might say why is that a big deal?

Two properties on the list I would ALWAYS recommend paying with points.

Manchester Grand Hyatt and Hyatt Centric Waikiki.

Why? Complimentary Parking. The valet at these properties charges about $45 per night pre-tax. Also, they’re Category 4 properties so you can use your Cat 1-4 Certificates or 15k points. At ~$50 a night after tax that adds up quickly.

These are only two out of the very many on the list participating so don’t dwell too much on them I was just pointing out one caveat.

Overall it’s a great deal, and I think we will be doing more traveling than originally planned due to this offer. Thanks again for sharing!
