We know that IS the case - it should NOT be the case. These items need a soaking spray with Lysol prior to every guest checking in - not wiped down, but placed in a position where they can receive a soaking spray and be properly chemically sanitized for the next guest. If the hotels can't do it willingly, then it needs to become part of the health code with punitive measures for violations.
