They are going to lose a lot of face with this. Fares were live for a long time, months? You can't just say whoops, my bad! They'd get some very good press out of the situation if they backed off and honored them. Which in this case is the 100% correct thing to do.

You don't understand how WY works. They couldn't care less for any good or bad press. They don't even care about the paying customers. This is a state airline that always lost money, will continue to lose it and will always be supported by Oman government. Customers are irrelevant in this equation.
