Just to recount my call with BA GGL line just now on rebooking from Split to London - was offered a flight same day at 7.55am (so 14 hours earlier) via Munich or following afternoon via Frankfurt. Bit disappointing they couldn't offer an afternoon flight (a few of those showing on Google Flights) but pretty decent considering the circumstances.
One for me to think about...
