Not to go off topic but to help you navigate.

Hyatt Place and Hyatt House offer Free Breakfast to “Members” which is typically a buffet, though the next few months if it’s available it’ll likely be something small and prepackaged rather than a full buffet or meal.

Lounges are available free to Globalists, though not all properties have them mainly Grand Hyatt and Hyatt Regency Properties have them (not all do though). The other pay to get Lounge Access is to pay usually you can pay I believe 3,000 points (at some properties) or ~$50 (per night) to upgrade to a “Club Room” which gives you Club Lounge Access for up to 4 people (2 Adults 2 Children).

Other Hyatt Brands/properties typically do not include a complimentary breakfast unless you pay a rate that states it includes breakfast. Globalists do receive Complimentary Breakfast as well though when staying at a Hyatt Property without a Club Lounge.

Club Lounges and on Property Restaurants for Breakfast for the most part are all closed right now, but are likely to reopen over the summer with limited service.

Also, the World of Hyatt Credit Card is a great way to get started with Hyatt. You’d get 10 Elite Nights, 50,000 Points, and automatic Discoverist Status, which is a good bump with Hyatt.
