Do you have status with either chain? Right now it looks like suites at Athenee are occupied or they simply closed entire floors which contain suites - suites are not in the inventory for the rest of May. So in part because of the potential for suite upgrades, I would pick Conrad right now, in fact I got the nice suite upgrade a few weeks ago as per the review above. But in normal circumstances, Athenee is my choice. Conrad's lounge has caught up with Athenee which was not the case before, if that's important to you.
