Trying to find an alternative in the US this summer if the world does not crash & burn by then.
I'm looking somewhere with wildlife viewing opportunities, by the water & good food. (Was going to Sonora to see orcas!!)

I'm a bit surprised to see how much these Alaska lodges are charging and wonder if it's worth the cost. I've seen a lot of reviews/discussion on the BC lodges and wonder if they're on par with those.

We are currently booked for Tutka Bay, Winterlake and Ultima Thule this July. Not sure if we'll go or not.... but if we do, I'll report back. If we elect not to go, we'll be rescheduling for next Summer.
