Any recent stays at Tutka Bay/Winterlake lodge in Alaska or something similar?

I was going to stay at Sonora Resort & visit Telegraph Cove this summer, but that trip is no longer happening
Trying to find an alternative in the US this summer if the world does not crash & burn by then.
I'm looking somewhere with wildlife viewing opportunities, by the water & good food. (Was going to Sonora to see orcas!!)

I'm a bit surprised to see how much these Alaska lodges are charging and wonder if it's worth the cost. I've seen a lot of reviews/discussion on the BC lodges and wonder if they're on par with those.
