It is typical Marriott style. Situation really have to push Marriott deep into the corner for them to flex or offer anything back.
It is not only TPs. There are so many FN rewards that we get stuck with. They are worth less now. Marriott may raise the category again next March. Travel stops, but the annual category bump does not stop.
