Welp, got a cancellation notice today (yes, it actually uses the word "canceled")

The impact of the coronavirus outbreak has been felt around the globe by individuals, families, communities and companies. With the challenges brought on by these difficult and uncertain times, travel has been severely affected. Unfortunately, your itinerary xxxxx has been impacted and your flight xxxx on 7/1/2020 has been canceled. To view your options, please visit the United app, united.com or call 1-800-UNITED-1.
Flight was ONT-SFO, first leg of ONT-SFO-CPH-LHR in J (award). United is no longer flying ONT-SFO that day (no scheduled flights). Looks like they knocked the schedule down to something like 3 days a week. I was likely going to be cancelling anyways because the conference my wife was attending at Cambridge got cancelled, the hotel in Paris she was going to stay at beforehand just cancelled the reservation, and I'm guessing the 96 mile West Highland Way hike I was going to join her for (via this flight) will be cancelled soon. Given they have no way to get me from ONT though, I wonder how flexible they'd be. Would they put me on SNA-SFO instead (the only fight of the day they have on the route that day which is looking quite full already, though still has Saver Y available).?
