If my mathematics skills are still sharp, then you had only a 4 hr deviation in your arrival, and UA still processed a full refund?..... Extremely lucky if that is the case, as I, and apparently a multitude of other px, have consistently been rebuffed by UA for anything less than 6 hrs, notwithstanding what their policy was at the time of ticket purchase. Congrats to you!!

Sukhoi_584th..... were the circumstances of your cancellation that you had a refundable ticket or possibly had booked with miles, or were rebooked by UA and it exceeded 6hrs and/or no alternative flights available... or were you rebooked and it exceeded a policy in place at the time of ticket purchase (most likely 2hrs for tickets purchased pre-Covid-19)....
.so we can figure out if applicable t just trying to discern why UA accommodated your request for a refund, o our own situations.
