I had no problems using contactless at the Coffee Bean drive through this morning. Unfortunately, since it was with my phone, I still have no idea if contactless is MSD only or if they use EMV contactless (but given that it's been long enough such that there are actually EMV contactless mandates now, I would be a bit surprised if it was still the former).

Also, this doesn't mean there aren't still pervasive hardware problems at Coffee Bean that still preclude contactless use most of the time, especially since they've claimed they've supported it all along. That will require them to reopen their indoor ordering areas to find out for sure, though.
