Hey BertieBadger & CT-UK - last question I promise

Given BA only guarantees 2 x Club and some world traveller would you recommend speculatively calling at 1am T-355 in the hope they release a couple of seats in first?
OR
Waiting and hoping one sees availability and then calling and trying to book?
