I have a somewhat related question. Belgium has the highest death rate of any country, followed closely by its next door neighbors. At first Italy and Spain were in the headlines, but now it's the US, the UK, and most recently Russia. Even China, which was most likely the origin and probably has the highest actual numbers, isn't talked about all that much. And yet Belgium and other Western European countries remain in the lead but are not talked about.

Why is Belgium never in the news?
