UK residents may have an EHIC that means that getting sick in Sweden and paying for the Swedish health bills isn’t an extraordinary problem. Even otherwise, it’s possible for many of us to have relevant insurance coverage or to otherwise be able to afford Swedish healthcare bills even when neither a citizen nor resident of the country.

The Swedish model of remaining open works because we listen to our government’s guidance without being forced to through legislation.
I have seen quite some things and then some in Sweden that make me doubt that Swedish society is all that uniform or unique in the world. I have also seen plenty of people running against the public guidance here in Sweden and circumventing presumed legislative and regulatory intent this year too.
